Philippa Yelland

Philippa Yelland has worked as a writer and journalist in Australia and overseas. Her short stories have been published in journals and have won numerous awards. Yelland's writing styles include fiction, historical fiction, third-person narrative, magic realism, black humour and faction. She is a member of Writing NSW.

Yelland's journalism has been published in all major Australian dailies: The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, The Australian Financial Review and The Australian. Her journalism awards include a residential scholarship in Tokyo from the Australia-Japan Foundation and a photographic award from The Courier-Mail.
